Manage Notifications Settings

To update your account's Notification Settings you must be logged in.

Click the NOTIFICATIONS bell, then click 'View all'.

Once you are in the NOTIFICATIONS inbox click 'SETTINGS'.

Here you can choose which Notifications you want to receive, and if you want them to be emailed to you, or to appear in the portal, or both.

User Notifications

Booking Notifications

These Notifications relate to individual Bookings.

Booking Approved: This Notification informs a User when a Booking is Approved by an Attraction.

Booking Confirmed: This Notification informs a User a Booking has been Confirmed by another User from the same organisation or an Attraction.

Booking Completed: This Notification informs a User when an Attraction has Completed a Booking by confirming final visiting numbers in the system.

Booking Declined: This Notification informs a User an Attraction has Declined a Pending Booking. You must receive this notification through at least one method.

Booking Participants Changed: This Notification informs a User that another User from their organisation or an Attraction has updated the number of participants expected for a Booking.

Comment Added: This Notification informs a User a Comment has been added to a Booking by another User from the same organisation or an Attraction. You must receive this notification through at least one method.

Booking Added by Attraction: This Notification informs a User a Booking has been Added to a Trip by an Attraction.

Waitlist Notifications

These Notifications are for when a Booking submitted on a Waitlist is actioned.

Time Proposed: This Notification informs a User who has submitted a Waitlist Booking that an Attraction has proposed a date/time for a visit. You must receive this notification via email.

Trip Notifications

These Notifications relate to Trips as a whole.

Trip Submitted: This Notification informs a User they have Submitted a Trip by clicking the ‘Book Now’ button at Stage 4 of Plan a Trip, or have Added Bookings to an Existing Trip.

Confirm Contact Details: This Notification reminds a User to confirm on-the-day contact details for a Trip.

Trip Reminders: These Notifications remind a User to check all details related to an upcoming Trip. You must receive this notification via email.

Please note, all Notification settings are User-based and only change for whichever User is logged in.

To change Notification settings organisation-wide you should instruct each User to change their Notification settings accordingly.

If you want email Notifications sent to an email address which differs from the one you log in with, enter this in the ‘EMAIL NOTIFICATION ADDRESS’ field.

Attraction Notifications

Attractions receive some of the Notifications outlined above, as well as specific Notifications outlined below.

Attraction Notifications are triggered by the organisation that booked a Trip or by another User at an Attraction.

Booking Notifications

Pending Booking Awaiting Action: This Notification informs an Attraction a Booking has been submitted and is in the Pending state.

Booking Needs Completing: This Notification reminds an Attraction to Complete a Booking once a group has visited.

Booking Cancelled: This Notification informs an Attraction a User has Cancelled a Booking.

Waitlist Notifications

Proposed Time Accepted: This Notification informs an Attraction a User has Accepted a Proposed Booking.

Proposed Time Declined: This Notification informs an Attraction a User has Declined a Proposed Booking.

Proposed Time Expired: This Notification informs an Attraction a Proposed Booking has expired and has reverted back to a Waitlist.
