Understanding Booking Statuses
The BCE system uses a set of Booking Statuses to help you understand the booking process.
Booking Statuses indicate whether a Booking is being reviewed, has been Approved, is awaiting action, or has been Completed.
Use this guide to understand what each status means and what actions you may need to take.

Booking Status Definitions
Draft
A Draft Booking is a Booking you have added to a Trip but have not yet submitted to an Attraction.

Draft Bookings do not reserve timeslots!

A timeslot remains available for other Users to utilise until you complete Plan a Trip and submit a Draft Booking.

Once it is submitted a Draft Booking is removed from the available inventory and becomes a Pending Booking.

Draft Bookings expire after 30 days if not the are not submitted.
Pending
A Pending Booking has been submitted to an Attraction but has not yet been reviewed.
After review an Attraction will either:

Accept the booking (it becomes an Approved Booking), or
-
Decline the booking (it becomes a Declined Booking).
Waitlisted (Draft)
A Waitlisted (Draft) Booking has been added to a Trip but has not yet been submitted to an Attraction.
Key points:

Waitlisted (Draft) Bookings expire after 30 days.

Once submitted Waitlisted (Draft) Bookings becomes Waitlisted Bookings.
Waitlisted
A Waitlisted Booking has been submitted, but an Attraction has no immediate availability.
If an Attraction can offer you a session a Waitlisted Booking becomes a Proposed Booking.
Proposed
If an Attraction's availability changes a Waitlisted Booking can becomes a Proposed Booking.
You may:

Accept the proposal → the Proposed Booking becomes an Approved Booking.

Decline the proposal → you may rejoin the waitlist or remove the booking altogether.
Approved
An Approved Booking is one that the attraction has reviewed and accepted.
Confirmed
Confirmed Booking status means all required confirmation details have been provided.
3 months before a Trip, you will receive an email asking you to confirm Trip-related details.
It is recommended you Confirm Bookings as soon as possible; late changes may result in additional charges.
Completed
Completed Booking status occurs when a group attends an Attraction.
Cancelled
Cancelled Booking status occurs when a Tour Organiser chooses to Cancel a Booking.
A Booking can be Cancelled from any status up to 14 Days before a scheduled visit date.
Declined
Declined Booking status occurs if an Attraction is unable to Approve a Booking.
