# Notification Settings

The BCE system allows you to customise how and when you receive notifications.

Through the **Notification Settings** panel, you can choose which Notification Types you want to receive, and whether they are delivered **in-app**, **by email**, or both.

#### **Accessing Notification Settings**

1. Open the **Notifications** tray by clicking the Notifications icon in the left navigation menu.
2. Select **Settings** in the top-right corner of the tray.
3. This will open the **Notification Settings** panel.

#### **Updating Notification Settings**

You can select how you would like Notifications to be delivered in relation to different events.

You can receive email Notifications, in-app Notifications, or both.

#### **Individual Notification Types**

You can turn Individual Notification Types on or off, based on your needs.

To update the settings, toggle each Notification type on or off to update your preferences.

#### **Email Notification Address**

Additionally, BCE allows you to set an alternative **Email Notification Address**, separate from your BCE login email address.

This is useful for organisations that prefer to use a **shared inbox** to manage Bookings.

BCE will only send **1 email per Notification event** (even if multiple Users share the same email address) to avoid duplicate notifications.

#### **Saving Your Changes**

Once you have finished updating your preferences click **Save** to apply the changes.
