How to Add a Booking to an Existing Trip

The BCE system allows you to update an Itinerary at any time, if you need to add 1 or more Bookings to a Trip that has already been created.

To do so, follow the steps below.

 

Step 1 - Locate the Trip

  1. Go to the Manage Bookings tab.

  2. Use the Filter feature to quickly find the Trip you want to update.
    You can search using:

    • School name

    • Trip ID

    • Date range

    • Booking status

    • and other filter options.

  3. Once you locate the correct Trip, click the Vertical Ellipsis [⋮] on the right side.

  4. Select Edit Trip.

This will reopen the Trip in the Build Your Itinerary page.

Step 2 - Add or Update Bookings to a Trip

Once you are in the Build Your Itinerary page, you can:

  • Add new Bookings.

  • Update existing Bookings.

Use the same steps you would follow when planning a new Trip.

Click on available time blocks, select a desired timeslot, then add it to the Itinerary.

Step 3 - Finalise and Submit the Updated Trip

  1. After adding as many new Bookings as you want to click Next.

  2. Review the updated Trip details.

  3. Follow the submission steps to send new Bookings to relevant Attractions.

When new Bookings are submitted they will appear the Manage Bookings tab, alongside those previously submitted.
